| This Small Project aimed at extending the discussions, started with the Let's Chat sessions, in time and depth. Instead of a chat room, where conversations happen in the moment and at a quick pace, this time we used blogs to let the discussion flow more reflectively.
For this project, a group of our collaborators, by posting to the blog as a single user, built three collective texts. Any visitor to the blog could participate by commenting on each post. Comments were moderated and required registration.
Each blog was active for a month, from July to September. After that, each blog was closed and the resultant text (main body and comments) compiled and available online at the VJ Theory website.
Themes for each blog:
July: The
performer
August: Performance
September: Interactors,
audiences and participators
Any media supported by the blog was allowed. All information in posts and comments, should have been referenced as rigorously as possible.
At the end of the project, three collective texts had been made by distinct groups of collaorative writers. The blogs were closed and the resultant texts (main body and comments) compiled and available online at the VJ Theory website.
The finshed work is also available in print form from here.
